My name is Neogenevieve. I chose this name because a long time ago. I would say when I was 10. I started watching this anime called Sailor Moon. After watching my first anime ever, I, more or less, became quite fascinated with the series and started looking up stuff like the writer and how the writer came up with the story. I also loved the mythological theme that Naoko Takeuchi (Bishoujo SM's creator) put in her series. My real name is Jennie, so I jokingly nicknamed myself, Genevieve; then being a bit, uh, egotistical ( i guess) I put neo I think partly because of 'Neo-Serenity' and maybe because of the Matrix. Regardless, SM was my first manga/anime-love. The second series that I fell hard for was InuYasha. I love InuYasha and the theme that its creator, Rumiko Takahashi, had put in there. I am sure there are more than 1 theme in the series, but I like the one, "I am who I am," because most of us struggle to find a defined meaning of ourselves. I, for one, did not find a defined meaning of myself until I went through college life. Not only does InuYasha portray strong themes, it also have strong female characters and very very schmexy male characters with the leading character in my book is the hottest one. Though, I do think Miroku is rather sexy in his own way. RT just creates character with just strong personalities. </br> Oops, I rambled...well, I know I haven't been on my LJ for awhile, but I am willing to make it work. I am here to scan the many InuYasha pages even though it is over (sighs). Anyways, happy trails!
